How to replace thermostat in 3.6 vz commodore 95 model

Not fimiliar with commodore engineering (im from the US, we dont have those!) but follow the upper radiator hose to where it connects to the engine, theres the thermostat. Remove everything thats in the way of removal, swap the thermostat then reassemble. Sorry if this is to vague to help, but for some people, this would be the only clue they need to just hop into it!

How to remove alternator on RX350

Follow the below steps to remove the alternator from RX 350.
1) Disconnect the negative battery lead from the car battery terminal and remove the engine cover to access the alternator and accessory drive belt.
2) Loosen the 14 mm bolt on the accessory drive belt tensioner pulley. Take the free hand and grasp the belt while pulling away from the tensioner pulley. This will release the tensioner pulley and allow the belt to be removed.
3) Disconnect the electrical plug connected to the alternator by prying the locking tab loose with the regular screwdriver.
4) Remove the 14 mm through bolt from the alternator using the 14 mm wrench or socket. Support the alternator with the free hand until bolt is removed completely. Slide alternator out of the engine bay.
If you do need to replace your alternator this site looks like it has cheap prices, free shipping and great reviews http://www.buyautoparts.com/autoparts/Lexus/RX350/alternator.html

Please advise me that how to change vz commodre inhibitor switch ?

Have your starter checked. Mine did the same thing. In the beginning it was slow cranking over. Then it just stopped turning over all together. Is it a stick or automatic? If stick get a push start from friends if it runs fine then you know it's the starter. Good luck hope this helped.

blueextc3221_1.jpg

The alternator is accessed from UNDER the vehicle LEFT SIDE facing the engine bay.

REMOVAL & INSTALLATION

1. Disconnect the negative battery cable.

2. Loosen, but do not remove the alternator adjusting nut.

3. Turn the front wheels completely to the right, then raise and safely support the vehicle.

4. Unfasten the retainers, then remove the plastic lower splash shield.

5. Unfasten the alternator field circuit wiring connector. You must squeeze the locking tab to release it.

6. Remove the B+ terminal nut and wire.

7. Loosen the alternator pivot bolt, but do not remove it.

8. Remove the alternator drive belt. The alternator spill shield does not have to be removed.

9. If necessary, remove the bottom pivot bolt and anti-rotation tab.

10. Unfasten the three mounting pivot bracket bolts, then remove the pivot bolt and bracket.

11. Holding the alternator in one hand, remove the adjustment nut then slide the alternator off the T-bolt. The T-bolt does not have to be removed. Lower the alternator and remove through the wheel well.

12. You may need to use a C-clamp to drive the sleeve into the mounting ear for installation clearance.

13. Position the alternator in the vehicle, sliding it onto the T-bolt. Install the adjusting nut.

14. Install the bracket and pivot bolt, then install the three mounting pivot bracket bolts. Tighten the bolts to 40 ft. lbs. (54 Nm).

15. If removed, install the anti-rotation tab and bottom pivot bolt hand-tight.

16. Install the alternator drive belt.

17. Tighten the alternator pivot bolt to 40 ft. lbs. (54 Nm).

18. Install the B+ terminal wire and nut. Tighten the nut to 75 inch lbs. (9 Nm).

19. Attach the alternator field circuit wiring connector, making sure the locking tabs are engaged.

20. Install the splash shield, then carefully lower the vehicle.

21. Tighten the adjusting nut.

22. Connect the negative battery cable. Adjust the alternator belt.

Thanks!!

How do i change the alternator on a 1998 mitsubishi montero sport

Disconnect the battery negative cable.
Remove 12mm (3) and 14mm (4) bolts holding skidplate on and remove skidplate
Loosen the 14mm nut on the tensioner, then unscrew the tensioner adjuster bolt until the belt can slide off.
Unplug the alternator electrical connector.
Unbolt the alternator cable lug (12mm or 13mm depending on alternator manufacturer)
Remove lower 12mm bolt
Remove upper 14mm pivot bolt
Use large screwdriver to pry alternator off bracket, it pinches on when the pivot bolt is tightened.
Drop alternator out bottom of engine bay; helps to unbolt or bend transmission cooler lines out of the way.

I need to find out how to remove the alternator from my 2002 Kia Spectra

The steps to replace an alternator are:
  1. Do the following through the passenger side of the engine bay of course with the hood up.
  2. First and most important is to disconnect the negative connection to the battery (driver side).
  3. Using a 12mm socket loosen the tension adjusting screw and bracket screw. Using a 10mm socket or open end remove wirings. Pinched other connector to remove.
  4. Using 14mm socket with 3/8 drive ratchet remove the big bolt on the lower side of the alternator.
  5. You might need some help from a pipe for extra leverage.
  6. Remove all parts that will hinder the removal of the alternator. For example the charcoal cannister on the firewall just slide up.
  7. Ease the alternator through the opening by turning the alternator untile it can pass through the opening.
