Washing machine quits after filling

Motors in that model are computerized. It possibly could be motor needs replacing.

Most likely the control or timer. What is model #?

Have you tried to unplug the machine, sometimes the control boards can get stuck and if you unplug it for say 30 seconds then plug it back in, it may reset itself. otherwise you may have to call someone these are very complicated machines.

you have a motor issue, do not run the machine. ther is a risk of fire.

replace the hose that leads to the fill switch. there is most likely a pin hole sized hole in it not allowing the air pressure to build up and make contact witht the fill switch

maytag washer dryer stack unit , model # lse7806ace washer fills with water but won't agitate or do anything else. I had the same problem a year ago and replace the lid switch asssemby and fuse and it worked fine until now. the switch clicks when I open and close the lid and the pink and orange wires show continuity with the lid closed.

If you don't hear a click when you close the lid, replace the lid switch.

You say its a Kenmore, but have GE Listed, so will hope you have a Kenmore. Sounds like if its just not working in one cycle, its more than likely a timer issue. Would need a model number to look up the part, but they usually range in price from $100 to $165 in price. They are not usually that hard to replace, so if you want to replace it, let me know and will get you directions, etc for that. Good Luck!!!!
