Toshiba 32BL505B- 32 inch TV - Lack of settings - No Installation, or TV Settings.. Please Help

I have purchased the above model of TV as an ex display model from Argos where I work. I have physically set up the TV as per instructions and the exact same as previous TV. I have tried to follow instructions for TV Set up, Installation and Reset Settings in the Toshiba Manual, all to which don't actually exist on the TV. I have a menu of either 4 icons being, Picture, Sound, Settings and Media Products. When selecting all, Settings in particular Non of the relevant settings apply from the manual or in general, there are no Installation setting, No Tv Setup setting, No Channel Search setting. Just the following *Conditional Access *Language *Timers * Date/Time *Other settings to which I have checked all and again none apply... *Conditional Access > error message given - no common interface module detected. *Language *Timers * Date/Time *Other settings > Menu timeout, scan encrypted channels, blue background, software upgrade ( no channels have been added yet, please go to install and resume menu to add - BUT THERE ISN'T one), Standby Search. I can not scan for channels because there is no option to scan.. the First installation was done at work when it was first set up as a display model. But that person doesn't work there anymore so can't ask them what they did. Even if I could find out to factory Reset to original then first time installation would apply?? As no reset option either. Any help would be GRATEFULLY accepted, Many Thanks, Casey.

SOURCE: use following steps to reset

img{-moz-force-broken-image-icon:1;} Same no sound issue happened to me; except I stopped at adjusting vertical size (unfortunately it seems horizontal cannot be set thru service mode; which was my original intent). Complete lost of sound signal processing; oddly enough speaker volume leveling did worked. (Eg, audio-in woks; so a big WTF?!) I suspect something to do with not recovering properly the data bus from muxing the volume input keys; ie, some kind of weird service/back-to-normal switch bug. I've waited for a couple of days for the damn thing to unlock itself out it (like some stubborn transistors seem to do); but to no avail. (BTW, only dif between TVs is that mine's a slightly smaller and cheaper model, a 19U-M100S; a minor branch out of the main line.) I'm afraid something did "burned out" and that the only real fix is to actually change the "defective" part. Had I known silly sh1t like that could happen, I obv would've not messed with it to begin with. It's just ridiculous, and lame. Besides being obsolete. In any case; I also think it's nowadays better to get a (full) digital one (wisely cost effective).

I can't find the wifi settings on my harwa 32 inch home screen settings how do l connect

To connect your Harwa 32-inch TV to Wi-Fi, you'll need to follow these steps:
  1. Go to the settings menu: On your TV remote, press the "Menu" or "Settings" button to access the TV's settings menu.
  2. Find the network settings: Look for an option that says "Network," "Internet," or "Wi-Fi" and select it.
  3. Connect to Wi-Fi: From the network settings menu, select "Wi-Fi" and choose your Wi-Fi network from the list of available networks. You'll need to enter the Wi-Fi password to connect.
  4. Test the connection: Once you've connected to Wi-Fi, go back to the network settings and make sure the TV has a strong signal and is connected to the internet. You can also test the connection by trying to access online content, such as streaming video.
If you're having trouble connecting your Harwa TV to Wi-Fi, you may need to consult the TV manual or contact the manufacturer for further assistance.

My 32 inch toshiba tv has lost sound , I've heard that a first time installation fixes this but I'm not sure what to do

If the TV has no sound, it will have some problem with it. A first time installation will not rectify this problem, and I don't know who told you this foolishness. If you are not familiar with electronics, do not attempt to repair. Whether you suffer fatal electrical shock! Instead, contact any experienced service technician, or the nearest service center.
