Changing keyboard on mc70

Hi,The fastest way to do this is to download the DataWedge software free form the Motorola website. You can then scan code directly into any file that excepts text based input.
To get the text file on to the unit i would recommend an SD card. or setup Active Sync to sync a Pocket Excel File to your desktop.

you need to compoletely re load the ocrrupt O/S. You cannot do this with access to the correct files and certificates. We can do this for you in house if you send it in for inspection. Please contact me [email protected] 01179064587

Do you have any software on the MC70 to use the scanner. You can use Datawedge if your software does not integrate into the device directly.

which scanning application are you using? What you need to do is install a scan utility to enable your scanner. The following postings are old anyone is still having issues?

Does it respond to keyboard entry? If not, check to see if the "lock" icon on the screen is in the locked position. It's real easy to accidentially lock the device. If it is, just click on the lock and confirm that you want to unlock.

The next few can be a problem if the screen is not responding, so you'll need to figure out the keyboard equivalent:

You may also want to check the system settings. I believe there is a setting that will enable you to "turn off" the touch screen function.

Finally, try a touchscreen alignment in the system settings.
