There are a lot of parts to this problem: First don't plug it in again or try to restart it...yet, Make sure before you reset the circuit breaker that you unplug the dryer. So now your home should be fine! The dryer is another story... I have answered this problem for others and with other dryers... Please focus on your washer, there should be very little water that remains in your clothes after the wash cycle and the clothes should Definitely not be dripping. Check to see that your spin cycle is working and if necessary run it through the spin cycle again. You may be overloading the washer. Back to the dryer...NO water should EVER drip from a dryer! If you do not wish to call a service person I would wait about 1 1/2 weeks for the dryer to dry itself and give the dryer another try after that and set it for Air dry only (no heat) if you don't have a problem at that point then stop the dryer and set it for a low heat cycle and try again. I think at that point you should be OK? If you do have problems.. you will have to call in a service person. But please remember clothes should be quite dry coming from the washer before going into the dryer.

SOURCE: dryer problem

Your problem may be associated with heavy accumulations of lint inside the dryer and/or ducting. If you have had a water leak recently, and the dryer ducting got wet, the lint could be sticking somewhere and forming a clog. A simple way you can determine if you have a clog somewhere is to disconnect the dryer vent hose from the dryer and start the dryer. The air leaving the dryer should be forceful and about 140 degrees (in other words...good and warm). If the air is weak and cool, you have a clog somehwere INTERNAL to the dryer. If the air is forceful and warm, check your ducting from the dryer to where it exits the house. A dryer needs proper air flow in order to dry properly. The fact that your dryer is getting very hot tells me that the heating element is heating up, but may in fact, be OVERHEATING. The dryer will not continue to run in this condition. Eventually the heating element or thermal fuse will blow. Take the time to perform these simple steps and post back with your results and/or comments. If it is not a simple clog, I can give you further advice on how to determine a cause of your problem.

NOTE: If you plan on cleaning the dryer interior, ensure you unplug the dryer from the power source. Live voltages of 220VAC are still present even with the dryer turned off.

SOURCE: Water collects under dryer. Clothes dry. floor wet. Vent open.

You said, Water collects under Clothes dry on floor. This sounds like a condenser dryer that needs the water retention bottle empdied or the hose to the bottle is leaking.

SOURCE: Dryer not turning off when clothes are dry (model LDE 400ACL)

Normally if you have an automatic cycle that turns off the dryer when the clothes are dry, it will do it with a special thermostat or moisture-sensing system. The thermostat tells the dryer to heat until the interior of the dryer reaches a "pre-set" temperature.
When the dryer reaches the pre-set temperature, the thermostat tells the timer to begin advancing. If there is a moisture sensor, the timer advances only if the moisture content of the clothing is low enough. The timer advances until the interior cools, then the termostat tells the timer to stop advancing, and tells the dryer to start heating again. This cycle continues until the clothes are dry. But... if the vent is clogged, the dryer may never reach the proper operating temperature, so it doesn't send the signal to the timer and the dryer continues to run indefinitely, even if the clothes are completely dry. To fix this problem, clean the vent and/or internal ductwork and make sure the vent is not compressed or kinked. If that doesn't work, then your thermostat, moisture sensor or timer could be the culprit.

SOURCE: It doesnt dry the clothes, after 45 minutes they

It sounds like the fan isn't working properly (assuming all the ducting is clear).

I hope I have been of help but please do not hesitate to ask if you have any further questions.
I appreciate your vote if you appreciate my reply and remember, even if you don't vote for me a please and thank you goes a long way.

I have a 4 yr old Samsung washing machine VRT, model # WA400PJHDWR. Water started leaking onto floor during a wash cycle. When washer was put on the spin cycle, water drained and clothes spun dry.

Could be a number of things. Maybe drain pump, or a leaky hose , or tub seal. You’ll have to physically observe to see where it’s leaking.

Why is my hotpoint tcm570 tumble dryer leaving a puddle on the floor

Since no dryer I am aware of uses any liquid, I suggest you may be putting wet clothes into the dryer.
This can happen if the washer does not spin the clothes nearly dry. Many dryers have small holes in the dryer drum to let excess water flow out, I would guess that may be the case with yours.
Are your clothes nearly dry when they come out of the washer?
If not, perhaps the washer has a loose belt or has a problem with the "dry" cycle.
God bless your efforts.

Water under and around dryer. Clothes dry but water on floor. The wash not leaking. I the vent and line are not clogged. What is causing the water under dry?

Unless the clothes are dripping, soaking, wet when they're put in the dryer (and it would take them a loooong time to dry if that were the case) there's bound to be a leak of some kind coming from somewhere other than the dryer. Do you have a lavatory or toilet on the other side of the wall behind the dryer? They dryer has no water of its own to leak.

Not getting clothes completely dry. Bad smell

The problem is the water in the vent pipe. You will have to empty the water out of the vent pipe. If the vent is running under the house, crawl under, starting at the closest dip to the dryer and work it out to the exterior. Then use some wire or ties to secure it to the floor joists to keep the dips from reoccurring. If there is water in the pipe, then the dryer can't blow the warm, moist air out of the tumbler. It is the equivalent of trying to dry clothes in a sauna. There is nothing wrong with the dryer, it is working correctly. The problem is the vent.
