My Hitachi 55HDX61 is about four years old. Recently a vertical red line appears periodically about 4 inches from the right side and travels about halfway down the screen. It looks to be lines 2 pixels wide. It comes and goes randomly. Otherwise the picture still looks great. Anyone have a similar experience? Is there a fix?

You have to have the entire screen replaced. hitachi tried to fix mine twice and couldnt, i finally took them to court and won. want my advice? get a new tv and never by a hitachi again!!! they are the worst!

I have had a ferguson 20250DTR for a few years and have had no trouble. Recently the recording button takes about 4 or 5 goes before the red line sticks to the programme reuired to tape. Is this the fault of the box or the remote please?
