Epson stylus cx7400 wont print but one copy at a time

if you have the cd-rom
remove the program,reboot pc.
install the program back and wait whit connecting the cables,
untill the program ask for it.

Try to print another type of document, i.e : doc, jpg.
If it 's no problem at another type of document, the problem is on PDF file ( not allowed printing, security setting), or on software for opening PDF file.

Blocked print head nozzles
Inkjet printers need to be used frequently to prevent blocked print head nozzles. You may have blocked print head nozzles.
Try the printer maintenance to clear the printer nozzles.
After several deep cleaning attempts and there is no improvements in the print then a new print head is required.

Try to use the copy function to isolate the issue, if it is from the unit or from the computer. If copy is blank, run a nozzle check ( Press the left Menu button on the control panel until you see Nozzle Check, then Press the Color Copy button.) to see if all inks are shooting out. If nozzle check pattern is not good, do head cleanings ( Press the left Menu button until you see Head Cleaning on the LCD screen.Press the Color Copy button ).

check first if your printer can copy well. try to photocopy a document. and if it copies well, that means, its a problem on the part of the receiever, if it does not copy well, that means the scanner of your unit has a problem.

If you are printing from your computer, in the print options select how many copies you would like to make in the preferences.

try to check the queue for pending document and cancel it if you find some. to do it:
control panel > printers & faxes(xp)printers(vista) > double click cx7400 icon - this is where you can check if there are pending docs. to dlete: on the same box click printers and select cancel all documents.
