Green Pixel or dots issue on Samsung LN-4051D

I assume this is related to your LCD monitor.
I think you mean dead pixels. The LCD monitor has tiny pixel elements, one for each red, blue, green color and each one of these colored pixels are turnes on by a transistor. When a transistor fails then the colored pixel it controls does not light up. This is a dead pixel and it shows up as a tiny black dot.
If the screen displays a blue screen, a dead blue pixel will appear as a tiny black dot in the blue screen.
You normally would not notice a few dead pixels unless they are grouped together.

good day .maybe theres a defect in the board causing the screen changes abnormally. maybe the screen module is defective. just consult that problem to samsung service center to fix your problem.

Those green dots are dead or "tired" pixels. The only thing you can try to fix this, is doing a pixel massage. Grab a pen and put some sort of towel over it and make a circling move over the pixel.

If it won't work the only thing you can do is get used to it that you have a dead pixel. ( i also have one. Very annoing)

what it is, is on plasma screen tv's and LCD, they can get too cold, too hot, or over-powered. when any of this happens with just the right conditions, a thing called "dead-pixel" occurs. basically, the pixel will not respond any longer to tbhe electrical signal, so will not change with the rest of the screen. its basically broken

Hello. If it resembles a tiny bright green dot, this is most probably a dead pixel. In the troubleshooting guide in the user manual, the manufacturer states that some pixel loss is normal--either they will be gone or permanently "on". If the unit is new(i.e. still under some warranty) talk with the supplier about options--they *may* decide to replace it if the dot is in a particularly annoying location. Be aware though, they won't be under obligation to do so. I own a LCD projector with a few visible pixels--as devices such as these(lcd tv's, projectors, plasma, etc.) age, this type of phenomenon is going to occur. Normally--and this certainly isn't always true, there is a tolerance of 3-9 pixels. Check with the supplier and/or manufacturer for individual specs. I had a similar problem with my LG plasma. I used the Image Sticking Minimization
(Pixel Orbitor, White Wash, and Inversion) feature which is designed to prevent image burn in and ghosting. This ISM feature may be available on the Samsung or any other brand under a different name. I activated the "white wash" option for about 30 mins, the screen turns white and somehow the pixels get reset. The green noise disappeared after that.

Sounds like stuck pixels, you really can't fix that. Do some google research if you are curious what a stuck pixel is.

No, it isn't to do with white balance. Instead it is due to a combination of noise swamping (or at least modifying significantly) the exposure measured by the pixel, and the interpolation algorithm in the sensor processing chips that "guesses" the colour of a pixel based on the readings from nearby pixels. These algorithms are better at rendering certain kinds of image elements than others. Large areas of darkish colour often fool the algorithms into attempting to produce detail that doesn't exist.
