hmmm....that was a little tough.. Kalatel seems now to be owned by United Technologies corp. which is an umber;;a corporation with many subsidiaries, I think the company you should approach is interlogix.....they have the manual for a KTD-405 on their site, so it looks right. you might need to see if you can contact their customer services and grovel a bit to get a manual.

Somehow you have a short somewhere or the door catch switch(s) contacts got damaged. If you are mechanically inclined, you can start by unpugging the unit and removing the case so you can inspect the door switch(s) assembly. Determine what is "normally open" and "normally closed" on the switch(s) and then Ohm them out with a multi-meter. Some of the switches are mounted on adjustment screws for propar contact on the door catches.

check charged, in this trouble the current is 12V @ 7 amp but the chargen not is provides sufficient current. change the source for other in equal condicions and test.

Request a copy from point of purchase. That is an expensive unit.

The latch could need a simple adjustment or may require replacing.

Is the catch (the part that sticks out of the dishwasher, not the door part) loose?

Maybe try to loosen it (dont unscrew it completely) and re-adjust it to suit.
