The water valv eis faulty replace it

Look for a stuck float switch. unit fills with water for 1 minute, then the board "looks" at the float to "see" if there is enough water in the unit to run. If float switch is stuck down, it tells the unit there is not enough water and the unit stays in the fill cycle causing the sump to overflow and send water down the drain constantly. Compressor will not run till the board senses that there is enough water to run.

Knowing how an ice maker works can greatly increase your ability to diagnose and repair it. Just like vehicles, ice makers all may look different but they all work on the same princible. A thermostat starts the ball rolling, turning on a motor and a heater to loosen the ice, as the ice dumps a trigger fires up the water valve and refills it. The whole thing comes to a halt and waits till the thermostat gets satisfied once again.
So what can go wrong? The ice maker will give a clue. If their is ice in the ice maker but none in the bucket that is an ice maker failure. If the ice mold is empty and no ice in the bucket then the water valve is bad.
One thing you can do is get a bottle of water and fill the mold. If it kicks out a batch but no more, water valve replacement needed. If it don't then ice maker problem. If you have shelling or fouled cubes, look for dirty coils below the ice box that make for faulty cooling. Ice forms at 32f but ice mold tstats don't kick in the afterburners till 25f. are you sure this is a Hoshi and not a Cold Draft? Your model number in not in any of my manuals and the Hoshi tech site has no listing for such a machine.
Double check it.

Bin Thermostat does not work

OK I just figured out this must be a european model refrig! 
i'm having trouble finding an owners manual in english so looking at the manuals that are in spanish it looks as if there is an on off switch on the 6th sense board. if i'm correct its the icon right above the mode button has picture of one cube next to picture of 3-4 cubes. sorry i led you on a wild goose chase. thx peyton

if your ice bucket is on the door, you look on the right hand wall of freezer and you'l see a slide switch with off and on written on it just slide to off. if you  have internal ice bucket raise the wire arm up to turn off icemaker. have a great day! peyton

it really doesnt matter how full you fill the bucket. round cubes will probably dispense just fine if you have access to that shape ice. 
One additional thing, be sure to turn the icemaker off to prevent the fill valve from going bad and to keep it from making a loud buzz about every 10 minutes. thx peyton

The bin control shuts it off when the ice bin is full. Without a bin control it should keep making ice and never stop.
