We are using a canon MF6590. I just got the all-in-one last week and everything was working find, but this morning I could not get any of the computers to print off it. So after spending a hour trying to figure it out I just reinstalled all the drivers for it on all the computers and that seemed to fix it. well after about 30 minutes the problem started all over. All the computers show the print online, but everything that is sent to it to print gets kicked back. I am guessing there is some network setting I am missing or it has something to do with the sleep mode. Has anyone run into this before? Thank you for any help.
Have you set an ip address to your copier? made sure there are no cloned address (or other networking related problem) around? once you do access to the copier thru that IP address, simply type the address in your browser and you must access the RUI (Remote User Interface). From there you should be able to see your copier's status and everything. Make sure it is online and ready to print, and then unistall it from the computer and install it as a local printer connected thru a tcp/ip port. once you finish all that give a try and let me know.
