Printer sends out extra page everytime I print

If I have a 5 page document to print, the printer feeds out a blank piece of paper then prints page 1 of document then sends out another blank page and then prints page 2 and so on.

This happens everytime I print.

I've already checked the separator page but not the paper size settings in the software. How do I do that?

    Thanks

Either your paper size settings need to be adjusted in the software, or your setup has included a seperator page.

Blank page feeding during print job

My HP P2015DN only prints one page at a time. If I have a 5 page document, the first page prints and then I must print the go button for each page to print.

Is the paper feeding from the manual tray or tray 2. If you are printing from tray 2 and have this problem then it is likely that your driver or software is looking for different paper types than you have loaded in the printer. For example, if you have plain paper in tray 2 and your software wants to print on letterhead, then the printer will stop after each page and by pressing the button you are telling the printer that it is ok to print on different paper. If you have the paper in the manual feed tray (tray 1) then I would check to make sure you are telling the pirnter to print to tray 1 and not manual feed when you send a print job.

I have an HP C7280 AIO printer. Everytime I print, it always form feeds a blank page bewteen each printed page (print page 1, form feed a blank page, print page 2, form feed a blank page, and so on).

Generally, there are printer set up programs that will let you chose to put a blank sheet or to not do that. If you have a disk or manual, look for the set up utility and go thru the tabs to find paper handling or something similar to that. There should be a check box you can clear to stop the blank page.

I hope that this information was helpful. Have a great day.

My printer and jump over pages

I do not understand your problem. Can you provide a better failure description, please?

1) Do you mean that your printer was printing say page 5 of a 15 page document and suddenly jumper to page 14 and you are missing 9 pages of the document.

2) Your document is printing page 5 and suddenly you get 5 blank pages and then the text begins printing on page 6. No data is lost but you have 5 blank pages.

Problem 1: More than likely caused by a data flow control failure.

Problem 2: Can be a myrid of things. For example, Extral Line Feed commands accidently imbedded into the datatream, worn indexing parts allowing the motor to drive the paper up more then it is supposed.

HP IIIp prints extra blank pages

HI there make sure that the paper tray guides are fully against the paper also try sending the job through the manual feed to see if you get the same problem. If you do not then it maybe that the paper cassette separation pad is worn and will need replacing. If your model has no rubber pad at the front of the cassette then you will have a metal hold over one corner of the paper make sure that when the paper lifts that the paper sits under the silver (Dog Ear) as this acts as a separator.

Hope this helps

HP 5550 Print issue

When you removed the jammed paper , the jam paper sensor was not reset or positioned correctly. The reason the machine was sending two pieces of paper thru at once was probably due to the paper feed sensor. A lot of H'Ps do this. Try re-aligning the tray and if you pulled the paper out and heard a grinding noise, the whole feed unit is probably out of time.I would only re-install the software as a last resort, since your problem was caused by hardware, not software.
