I am suddenly unable to access my yahoo mail via their server. I have aggregated access via a tablet and android phone but cannot access via my Mac or PC. How do I regain access.

My android phone has synched with the mail service and is the only reason I can think of why direct access is suddenly denied. The message is " you are trying to gain access from an unrecognised device" and prompts a response to a question which is not one logged by me on my account.

SOURCE: Unable to gain access to my Yahoo Mail

Being the main BT account holder, yesterday I found that each time I try to gain access to my Yarhoo Mail the screen goes blank with the words "Server hang up". Other users of this property broad band phone number are still able to connect to their Yarhoo Mail. Even from different computers at different locations the same thing occurs on my email address. My husband has given me his email address below, so I can hopefully see your reply via his laptop.

SOURCE: I recently removed my computer (my user) password

Bruce, Windows Security does not have the ability to block and e-mail account. The real problem is, is that you just forgot what the password is.

Same thing you will get from your e-mail client like Outlook 2003 or 2007, if you can't provide the correct password.

Go to the login page of Ymail and use the link "I can't access my account". Answer the questions, follow the instructions, and provide an alternate e-mail address, and the password will be e-mailed to you.

Please let me know if you have any questions regarding your e-mail problem.

Thank you and good luck!

Mailbox sccess is not supported on my Archos 10 internet tablet. How do I enable my tablet to accept my yahoo account?

Yahoo free email accounts cannot be setup via any devices and/or computer except access via the web. You have to pay for the Yahoo email Plus account in order to setup email on your device.
These are the settings if you doYahoo Incoming Mail Server (POP3) - pop.mail.yahoo.com (port 110)
Yahoo Outgoing Mail Server (SMTP) - smtp.mail.yahoo.com (port 25)

I'd suggest getting a gmail account from google, free and it will work fine on your tablet. You can then create a rule in your yahoo to forward all email to your gmail account.

I can't recieve my yahoo email on my mac

If you still can't send Yahoo! Mail from your email program, you might be accessing the Internet through an ISP that is blocking the SMTP port. If this is the case, try using port 587 when sending email via Yahoo!'s SMTP server. To make this change:

From the Tools menu, select Account Settings. The Account Settings dialog box appears.
Select your Yahoo! Mail Plus account and click Properties. The Change E-mail Account dialog box appears.
Click More Settings. The Internet E-mail Settings dialog box appears.
Click the Advanced tab.
In the Outgoing Server (SMTP) box, type 587.
Click Apply, and then click OK to close the Internet E-mail Settings dialog box.
Click Close to close the Account Settings dialog box.

Am unable to send outgoing/incoming yahoo.co.in mails from my samsung gts5253 mobile

you will need to check the WAP and Email setup settings with your service providers, you can also go the the Email setup wizard and enter the following settings.

Yahoo Mail offers standard POP3 access for receiving emails incoming through your Yahoo mailbox, by using your favorite email client software. To setup your email client for working with your Yahoo account, you need to select the POP3 protocol and use the following mail server settings:
Yahoo Incoming Mail Server (POP3) - pop.mail.yahoo.com (SSL enabled, port 465)
Yahoo Outgoing Mail Server (SMTP) - smtp.mail.yahoo.com (SSL enabled, port 995)

How do i set up my yahoo email account archos 10.1 internet tablet

Glad to help YOU!

For your tablet, to get Yahoo! mail you have to activate POP setting; to activate pop on your Yahoo!Mail account you have to pay for it.
Now, if you once signed up for Yahoo! Mail Plus, add a new email account to your email program with the following POP and SMTP settings:

1. Yahoo! Mail POP server: plus.pop.mail.yahoo.com
2. POP port: 995
3. POP TLS/SSL: yes
4. POP user name: your Yahoo! ID
5. password: your password

1. Yahoo! Mail SMTP server: plus.smtp.mail.yahoo.com
2. SMTP port: 465
3. SMTP TLS/SSL: yes
4. SMTP user name: your ID
5. SMTP password: your password

In case you will have some errors/problems having such settings you have to:

# Log in to Yahoo! Mail
# select OPTIONS > MAIL OPTIONS > go to POP/FORWARDING > choose VIEW POP on Yahoo!Mail Server.

Hope I was able to help you!

GOOD LUCK!

Since I have been in Mexico I am unable to forward or reply to my yahoo emails

How do you access your Yahoo Mail, is it via the web browser or is it setup in an e-mail client like Outlook?

If you're accessing your e-mail via the web browser (Internet Explorer, Firefox, Google Chrome), then you may want to try to access your e-mail in a public computer, to see if the problem has something to do with the security of the ISP (internet service provider). Or you may need to give them a call just to verify.

If you're e-mail is setup in an e-mail client (Outlook 2003, 2007), just change the Outgoing server (SMTP) port. By default, e-mail clients are using port 25. You may change it to 2525, 587, or 465. Try it and I hope it helps.

Thank you and good luck!
