Onkyo HT- S790 installation manual

Had a Onkyo HT-R540 system that got stolen and replaced it with a Onkyo HT-S790 system. My rear speakers aren't working now with DVD or tuner and I can't find my installation manual. How can I get another one?

Product= Onkyo HT s3300. My 2 front speakers won't produce any sound when I hook it to the Speaker A rear section.I hooked both speakers to Speaker B ports and both produced sound. Thanks. Godale.

Hello Hasnul, for what you comment, it is very possible that the integrated circuit has been burned, that works with the Front System A output and you have to replace it, the Front System B output, works with another integrated amplifier circuit, which is working well
If you have technical knowledge, I send you the link to download the Service Manual of your Onkio and know which integrated circuit to replace
But, I suggest you look for a specialized technical service
I hope you can solve the problem, comment the results
Greetings Franco Dosil

I have a onkyo by r540 receiver with a rc 649m remote. I have a manual for the receiver, but none for the remote, nor can I locate one. Do you have a programming instruction for an onkyo rc 649m remote

The Onkyo RC-649M remote was included with the Onkyo HT-S790 (with the HT-R540 receiver), among other sound systems. The directions for using this remote are thus in the HT-S790 manual. Onkyo has this manual here: https://www.intl.onkyo.com/downloads/manuals/pdf/ht-s790_manual_e.pdf . See pages 13-17 for information on using the remote. Look at page 69 and the subsequent pages for the remote control programming directions and code list. To program the remote for a specific device, press and hold the Mode button (TV, DVD, etc) that you want to program. While holding this mode button, press and hold the Display button (the lowest button on the left side of the remote) for 3 seconds. Then enter the 4 digit code that applies for your device/manufacturer. (If there are multiple codes, you will need to test the remote and try again until you find a code that works.)

I hope this helps.

I have a Onkyo Model HT-S5300 I can to install two additional front speaker I want to know the speaker specification that i can install

The speakers and amp are optimized at 6-ohms. Adding speakers will require you to run them in parallel with a possible dangerously low impedance; or in series, doubling the impedance which is safer.

These products are not designed to be modified.

I bought an onkyo hts-5300 it has grave reviews for sound. Yet it is not producing what i feel it should, what is the ideal db setting for the speakers for crisp sound and deep theatre style bass

"Grave" reviews??

If you set it up as specified in the manual it will be optimized. As far as volume settings while listening go, that is subjective and entirely up to you, your speakers and your neighors.

Onkyo ht-r500 no speakers attached goes directly into protect mode, standby light blinking..

I have a HT-R520 - First thing stated in the manual is 'Do Not Apply Power to the System Until All the Speakers Are Connected to the Receiver.' This practice avoids any hot connects to the speakers. As with any high-outpiut system connecting spreaker wires to the system while in operation can spike the speakers as well as the amplifier curcuits. Hook up your speakers first and give it a try. Good Luck!
