Ac addapter not working

Take it back, fool with and you loose the warranty.

Go to RadioShack with your adapter and get the exact replacemtn.

The instructions worked after the additional KX-TGA402N handset was fully charged and I kept pressing the menu/ok button of the additional handset to advance from initial settings to the handset registration mode.


How do register an optional accessory handset to my existing main base...

If not charging,3 reasons may be-
1.Charger is defective.Check adapter
2.Batt is defective.Try with another one
3.Camera is electrically dedective.Can't complete charging.

The best way to resolve this is to remove the battery, plug it into the AC adapter, and attempt to turn it on. If it comes on, shut down, re-insert the battery and see if it will boot.
If it doesn't turn on when only on AC, then your addapter is bad and it has drained the battery to the point it will not turn on - You need a new adapter.

It is possible that the connector inside the laptop is damaged. It would still show that power is getting to the unit, but not to the parts inside. I would think the internal connector needs replacing.

If your ac addapter is well then change the dc battery.

this is ur battery problem so just get ur baterry cheked

Make sure the ac adaptor ius the right polarity for the camera, negative outside plug and positive centre,also make sure the voltage output of the charger is correct 5 volts dc.You do not need batteries as well as the charger.

WELL, After a year I alone, without any help from UNIDEN, FIGURED IT OUT.
1. TURN IT OFF, UNPLUG AC JACK IN THE BACK!
2. REMOVE Backup battery cover "underneath" scanner! TAKE ALL 3 BATTERIES OUT.
3. I PUSHED THE POWER BUTTON TO BLEED ANYTHING OFF IN THE CAPACITORS, IF IT HAS ANY INSIDE?
4. PUSH THE"2", "9", AND "HOLD BUTTONS DOWN, THEN PLUG THE A.C. BACK IN ON THE BACK OF THE SCANNER.
5.You WILL notice while you are doing STEP#4 THAT THE DISPLAY SAY'S "CLEAR". ALL FREQUENCIES WILL BE CLEARED IN THE MEMORY!! THEN TURN Scanner OFF reinstall the BATTERIES, TURN BACK ON AND START PROGRAMMING!! THIS WAS FOR A "BC340CRS" SCANNER
