SOURCE: Bean hopper is full, grinder is grinding...but NO COFFEE!

Sometimes the chamber between the grinder and brewer will clog up. Try: Open the grind all the way up to the highest number. Push the grind button and while grinding move the dose knob (the one with the + - sign toward minus. If it does not kick in and dose try it again. If it does take off then leave it on the high number for 3 coffees. Then while the grinder is turning move the two knobs back to whre they were. If this does not work you can reomve the brew unit and right above where it sits in the machine there is a trap door that you can open. Open it and shove someting like a straw up toward the grinder and you should get a bunch of grounds droppiing down. Then try the above procedure a couple more times. If this does not work you may need to google "Saeco repair" and send it to an authorized repair center.

SOURCE: No coffee brewing with beans, but with coffee brewing with ground coffee.

It is possible that the grinds chute is blocked, remove the brew unit and check the chute from the grinder chamber, make sure that it is not blocked with coffee grounds.

For smitty_2007 you may have to also clean the grinder. Instructions should be in the manual. Remember when doing so there is a slot on sode where grinder goes that the coffee pushes out. Sometimes that will get packed and need to clean also.

SOURCE: Saeco talea touch - grinds & brews coffee into grounds drawer??

Try this, adjust the grind to a coarser setting atleast 2 numbers, then remove brew unit and look behind at white plastic valve, there is a small chamber under valve make sure chamber is clean and that the small discharge from chamber to drain tray is also clear. Then remove shower screen from brew unit and clean if necessary, also check the tube from the shower. Reinsert and test.

SOURCE: Hello. I have a saeco vienna superautomatic

This happens due to condensation caused by steam developed at the end of the grinding cycle. Make sure that the grinding chamber is completely cleaned and dried before using the grinder.

  1. Turn the whole bean chamber to the right until it can be lifted off the base. This will allow you to clean the grinding wheel. NOTE: Never use water or liquid for cleaning the lower grinding section of this appliance.
  2. Clean interior recesses with a soft brush (not provided).
  3. Wash the whole bean chamber and lid and the ground coffee chamber and lid in mild detergent and water. These items are only dishwasher safe on the top rack of your dishwasher. Wipe exterior with a damp cloth. Do not immerse mill in water or any other liquid or place in dishwasher. Use only non-abrasive cleaners to remove stains.
  4. After completely drying, replace whole bean chamber. Important: when replacing whole bean chamber, screw on completely before setting grinding rate. Turn chamber clockwise (as viewed from top), until it will not turn. Fill with whole coffee beans for grinding and replace lid.
  5. Replace ground coffee chamber and lid, making sure it snaps securely into place.

My Saeco Odea Go makes coffee very slowly

If the water pressure coming out of the steam/hot water arm is fine, then the issue is likely with the brew unit or the grinder. Here are a few things you can check:
  1. Clean the brew unit: A dirty or clogged brew unit can slow down the flow of water. Remove the brew unit and clean it thoroughly, making sure to remove any coffee residue or buildup.
  2. Check the grinder: A dull or clogged grinder can also slow down the flow of water. Make sure the grinder is set to the appropriate setting for your coffee beans and check that the grinder is not clogged.
  3. Check the water flow meter: The water flow meter measures the amount of water flowing through the machine. If it is clogged or damaged, it can affect the flow of water. Try cleaning the water flow meter with a soft-bristled brush and see if that helps.
  4. Check the water filter: If your machine has a water filter, it may be clogged and affecting the flow of water. Replace the filter if necessary.
If none of these solutions help, it may be a more serious issue and you may need to bring your machine to a professional for repair.

Saeco Vienna Machine - no coffee at all or very watery coffee/liquid pucks

Your machine needs dealer service. Either the brew group needs replacing or all the O-rings need replacing. The reason the grounds are wet is because water is forcing by the worn seals. These machines need dealer service every 6 to 9 months, and of course they don't tell you that when you buy them.

My Saeco magic deluxe needed the circuits relaoded. I followed the intructions and now my machine tamps first and then grinds the beans leaving me with weak coffee can anyone solve this for me ?

try this.

hit the external dosage button. Its the button on the top middle that controls when you want to put grinds in from the external shoot.

Do not place any coffee in there. then just press the normal brew button. it should brew more or less a cup of water.

then try brewing a coffee like normal and see if the problem fixes.

this happens because there is a little door in the grinder that hits a microswitch that tells the grinder to stop grinding.

This is supposed to happen when the grinder fills the brew group enough to click the microswitch.

Sometimes it does reverse itself like this.

The only other solution would be to open the grinder up and vaccum all grounds out and vaccum the grind shaft above the brew group on the side.

This will cause the door to go back to normal position.

If it doesn't work after that, the door or microswitch has gone faulty. But that is an extremely rare situation.

Hope this helps.
