How to reste counter cartridge on brother dcp 6690cw

Print impossible messages or similar almost always indicate a full waste ink tank. These can be emptied and the purge counter reset, but it is a messy pig of a job. Do a check on google or similar for instructions and demos,
e.g.

and disassemble the machine to get to the waste tank mounted (usually) behind the cartridge bay. Clean and dry the pads, then put it all back together and run the reset code.

Maybe you could go to a glass seller and have a replacement cut to match?

Pull out all cartridges and take a flash light, look inside the printer, in the upper-back part you'll see black pins, check if are they clean and embedded, if black pin in even a bit loose, you'r need to solder a new pin on the PCB
