The power button is broken how to turn ontv

Hello Andrew

You didn't specify what you mean by "Broken"

Do you mean physically broken or
It just doesn't turn the tv on?
There are separate answers for each.

1:To fix a physically broken switch you could simply open the TV up and attach 2 wires to where the switch contacts are soldered to the PCB.
Run the wires to a new switch. Probably a NO (Normally Open) type. A Round switch could be mounted easily with a drill hole through an unused area of the case. Pressing a NO switch closes the contacts momentarily to trigger the digital turn On.

2:You could remove the old switch & attempt to get an actual replacement or a similar mountable switch from a components supplier.

3:If the switch is actually physically OK and the internal contacts are working (test with multimeter) then the problem is with the digital switch mode power supply that supplies power to the main circuits.

This would probably be caused by leaky Electrolytic Capacitors on the power supply PCB.
In that case, if your up to using a soldering iron and locating the Cap's then this would be an inexpensive way to fix the TV.

Good Luck

Side lights dont work

Fuse sure didn't play, bulb is unlikely to be all bad. Check the turn signal switch, first find the turn signal switch plug, put the key to ON file, in trying to find a turn signal lamp switch wire (flash to the thread) will this wire with no light ON one side of the turn signal line connected to see if a turn signal light, the light is turn signal switch is broken, or the plug contact undesirable, don't light it is turn signal switch to light ON one side of the light path, in order to determine whether the light bulb is broken can open a small lamp or led brake lights to borrow their wire leads to a turn signal whether turn signal light, so you can determine whether the light bulb not bright side is broken.auto diagnostic tool.

Dyer will not turn on. Can hole the starter button in and dryer will run. remove and the dryer will stop running. When holding the start button the dryer does not heat. Any Idea's as to what may be...

broken belt or broken broken belt switch most likely. Open the door. Hold in the door switch and push the start button. Does the drum turn? If it does turn then the broken belt micro switch is where I would look first. If the drum don't turn of course I would replace the broken belt.
The only Kenmore dryer that has a broken belt switch is the 4 wheel drive model. Here is a video which shows how to get into this dryer and replace the belt:

When I make a left, or right turn and engage my turn signal , my signal will not turn off automatically after I complete the turn.

Your turn signal switch is worn out or broken...this is located inside the steering column...on older cars (pre-airbag) you need to remove the steering wheel to gain switch out...This part is available for your car at most auto parts stores. Hope this helps.

No brake lights --- fuse ok---bulbs ok

I think I'd check the brake light switch. It may be a switch/button that touches the arm of your brake pedal. It may be stuck, broken, or out of adjustment.

Next check for a bad/broken ground coming from the bulbs in back.

My next guess would be the turn signal switch. Unless the technology has changed, the power for the brake light goes to the switch. When you turn on the turn signal, the power to that brake light would be disconnected and substitutes the turn signal flasher circut.

Let's hope it's the pedal switch.

Do the lights blink with the turn signal?

Dryer drum will not turn

The dryer will not start with a broken door switch. Replace the door switch if found defective.

Most dryers have a door switch actuator lever - when you close a dryer door, it presses against the lever, which actuates the door switch. If the lever is broken, the switch will not activate and the dryer will not start. Replace the lever, if broken.

Note: Door switch actuator lever usually comes with the door switch assembly and it is recommended to get the whole assembly since there is almost no price difference between the door switch assembly and just the lever. Check your model for more details.
