How do change tv to run on 100hz from 50hz?

I have an LG 42 inch HDready LCD 1080p tv and have noticed that its only running at 50hz, I have thoroughly explored the menu but dont know how to get it set on the 100hz. Help me please!!!

Well,

First of all, where are you living that you have 100Hz power? I don't know of anywhere in the world that has 100 Hz, but then things change.

How to set 100hz or Motionflow/Trumotion Effect on Panasonic 42X20 Plasma or...

To those who want to have the Motionflow/Trumotion effect on this Plasma Flat Panel TV or similar models, do the following:

1. Set your media player / source (PS3, Xbox 360, Western Digital Media player, Apple TV, etc) at 720p@50hz / 1080i@50hz / 1080p@50hz.
Note: not all player supports 50hz read your source manual if your source/media player can support 50hz

2. Go to the TV's menu and select Setup
3. Select Other Settings
4. You will be able to change refresh rate to 100hz for a Motionflow/Trumotion effect that they have on LCD/LED (if you don't see the 100hz setting that means your source is at 60hz not 50hz)
Note: 100hz refresh rate is different from 600hz subfield drive.

Display in top right corner says 1080i and 50hz . can i change to 1080p and 100hz as tv supports this

You cannot change this. The program sets the TV. The display only informs you what the program you're watching was recorded in.

It may only do 100 Hz at a lower resolution.

I have set my LG 47LH4000 to trumotion 100hz but when you press the ok button when watching it says 1080i 50hz should be 1080p

All TV signals, including SKY, are transmitted at 1080i and 50hz. The only sources for 1080p are Blu Ray, XBox or PS3

How can I use my lg lcd tv model m1994a for my ps3 there's no video signal,I try it all inputs to my lcdtv from av cable.component video,and hdmi cable still there's no video signal,but if I'll connect to...

I solve it already my problem by connecting my ps3 to an 32 inches lcdtv and I change the videosetting to my ps3 to default setting because before when I had my sony bravia 32 inches I changed it to 1080p via HDMI cable signal...After I changed to default settings I connected it again to my own LG lcdtv 19 inches but it sadly 1080p is not so very much supported but anyway I can play now ps3 games...

I have just bought a bush hdlcd 100hz tv the info on the telly screen says displaying 1080p@50hz why 50 hz shouldnt it be 100hz

U in EU right?Some tv buy out of the countries or imported needed transformer voltage rectulator so step up or down the voltages.
