Wireless keyboard doesnt work with switch

I have a wireless keyboard/mouse from Labtec. When i connect the switch and boot the pc, the keyboard is recognized. But when i switch to my other pc, the keyboard/mouse isnt recognized.Even when i try to re-connect the base with the keyboard/mouse, it doesnt work. Also when i use the button on the switch, the keyboard isnt recognized anymore. I tried it with a noma keyboard/mouse and that is working fine. Does anyone heard about such a problem?Or isnt possible to use a wireless keyboard? Any help would be great kind regards, michael

Hey You fix this Problem by re-sync it and by Holding the USB dongal or the receiver and the the connect button behind the Keyboard or the last solution is this that remove the batterys and discharge the flea Power from the keyboard by holding the connect button at the back of the keyboard . this will fix the issue

Once you have switched pc you will need to re-sync the wireless keyboard and mouse with the new pc, because although you have switched pc the keyboard and mouse do not know this. there should be a reset/resync button on the bottom of both the keyboard and mouse

Labtech ps2 wireless desktop

Usually, the connect procedure for Labtec is, that you press the small connect button on the receiver, (which on some models, then starts blinking).. Next, you press the connect button, on the bottom of either the mouse, or keyboard.. then repeat this, for the remaining unit.

Note: You might have to connect the PS2 receiver BEFORE starting the PC, and also might have to install the drivers, to get the multimedia-keys to work ! Good luck!

I have labtec wireless optical mouse that won't work. I have replaced the battery. What do I do?

Try syncing it with the adapter. There should be a button on the mouse/keyboard somewhere and a button on the adapter that you must push both at same time. (while adapter is in the comp)

If that doesnt work then you may have to find the diver for the mouse

Does the labtec wireless mouse turn itself off when not in use

Hi,
You should always safely shut down and turn off your computer before plugging or unplugging the mouse from the PS/2 mouse port. If you do not safely turn off your computer, you may damage the mouse port, the mouse, or both.

Your Labtec mouse should detect and function by simply connecting it to the computer´s PS/2 mouse port or USB port. If you have 3 Button Labtec Mouse (M/N: M-CAC64), your mouse will work in the PS/2 and serial port with the supplied adaptor. If you are using the 3 Button Labtec mouse, we recommend using the PS/2 port. To determine the model number of your device, turn it upside down and look at the label. Model numbers are indicated by "M/N:". This will help you determine what system ports your Labtec mouse can be connected to.

Thank you

Connection

There is usually a "Connect" button on the devices (Mouse & Keyboard) and on the receiver the unit connected to the computer. Hit the "Connect" button on the receiver then the ones on the Mouse and Keyboard.

Hopefully that works...

Labtec wireless desktop.

Could be radio interference from somewhere. I tracked my similar mouse problem down to emissions from the ethernet adapter that connects over the house mains wiring. Try the using the mouse close to the receiver, if it works ok interference is likely.
