I bown air to remove duet and tune it on and got a block sneen asking for a command or a filename also time and date
Hello,
If you see "time & date not set", then you need to replace the bios battery on your motherboard.....this is the battery that keeps the time and date settings as well as all the hardware settings for the motherboard. It is a CR2032 button cell battery (see picture below) It sounds to me like the bios battery is dead and the motherboard has lost its config information about your hard drive. Replace the battery (about $5) and check the bios settings to ensure the hard drive is detected. If this doesn't fix it, or if you do not know your way around a bios, then consult a tech-savvy friend, or take it to a qualified technician.
Hope this Helps!!

SOURCE: when your labtop get wet
it would help if you can provide the exact message it gives you. if the laptop got wet, there is a chance that internal components like the motherboard may have already been affected/damaged and may need replacement. the exact message would give us more data on working on this one. However, if in case the message comes up when it already try to load Windows, try last known-good configuration, system restore or Windows reinstall. To try last known-good, shut down the laptop, remove its battery and AC adapter, press and hold down the power button for about 10 seconds, remove and reconnect the hard drive, then reconnect the adapter and battery, restart the computer, tap F8 a few times as it restart to get to the Advanced Options menu, then select Last Known-Good Configuration. If this does not work, go back to the Options menu, select Safe Mode and if it boots, try system restore, otherwise, reinstall Windows. Let us know how it goes.
