Bizhub 250 c1183 fault code

Once the unit is powered on the main screen appears for about 2 seconds and the following appears... Malfunction detected Fault code c1183... All cables are plugged in. Any help would be appreciated

    on a 450 with finisher. We swopped the finisher, but still does it! have changed power supply on main machine.HELP

    Hi its hally. I found out the solution to my problem. There is a plastic paper tray that has to be slotted into the side... We didnt think we needed it. But the photocopy machine has sensors that need this paper tray hooked into the side of the machine to work. Simple problem to fix and im suprised no one said it.

I had a similiar problem with a Bizhub C-353. I tried opening closing the front door several time & power cycling galore. Turns out a had a loose on the saddle tray sensor. I wish the stupid thing would have just said "Finisher tray full" or something close to it.

After machine off/on, the front door must be opened and closed to reset the finisher codes.

I have a bizhub 4750 it has an error code 3423 121 how do i clear this error when the printer does not have a utility/counter key

You have a bad fuser unit. Its hot part that fuses the toner to the paper, so you cant wipe it off.

Try this once if the code come back DO NOT RESET again as the fuser can catch on fire that will ruin a perfectly good day!!! have a tech come out and replace the unit

(2) Procedure 1. Turn OFF the main power switch. 2. Turn the main power switch ON while pressing the Power key. 3. If a trouble code appears, press the "Menu" key on the control panel. 4. Touch the password input area and, using the keyboard on the screen, type the CE password. (The initial setting for CE password is "92729272.") 5. Touch [OK]. 6. Touch [Trouble Reset]. 7. Touch [OK] on the check screen. 8. According to the description on the screen, turn off the main power switch, and turn it on again more than 10 seconds after and check if the machine starts correctly.

Bizhub error malfunction code C1183

This has to do with the tray on the finisher. Make sure it is seated in place and no paper is in it. It must cycle up and back down freely. It should reset by turning the machine off at the main power switch in the back, NOT the control panel.

Hi elfethi,

This code c1183 is commonly caused by trays in your finisher which are not fully inserted into it's slot. It indicates an elevator motor Ascent/Descent Failure. You may want to try follow these steps that help you address the concern:

1. Check the output bin trays which are at the far left side of your machine.
2. Make sure that they are properly installed into the holders.
3. Then refresh your system by turning it off and on.
4.After doing these, the error should be gone.

If you're still getting the error after making sure that trays are properly installed then this means that the issue is already with the sensors or elevator motor. You will need to contact a local repair man.

Hi



Error code C1183 means finishing option elevator drive malfunction. It appears due to tray lift motor failure on the finisher. To trouble shoot the issue turn off the power and open the elevator section to check the elevator motor. Wait for 2-3 minutes and check if the issue is resolved. If this doesn't work then check the alignment of front and rear rollers of the finisher. Also make sure that the finisher exit guide rollers are fine & the paper is exiting properly, open both rear and the front cover and check the lower gears attach is the up/down drive belt. Sometimes this error may appear due to a broken lower gear by the pin slot. Hope this helps...

BIZHUB 350 C1183 MALFUNCTION

Hi richard_hutc,

It would appear that you have an issue with the finisher/sorter on the side of the machine.
Specifically, C-1183 means the elevator motor hasn't ascended or descended correctly.
Open and close the finisher and look for any paper jams in this area.

When I turn on the machine (bizhub c300) error code c3452 appears, within 20 secs, How do I reset this code

This is a fuser related code.
To reset the code, please do the following
1. Turn OFF the Main Power Switch.
2. Turn Main Power Switch ON while pressing the Utility/Counter key.
3. Touch Trouble Reset.
4. Check to make sure that OK is displayed and the it has been reset.
5. After turning off the Main Power Switch, turn it on again more than 10 seconds after
and check if the machine starts correctly.

Bizhub Konica Minolta - Error Code C1183

First check the alignment front and rear of the finisher, check the finisher exit guide rollers if the paper is exiting properly, open both rear and the front cover and check the lower gears attach is the up/down drive belt. that lower gear one might be broken by the pin slot.

Bizhub 200 fault code c1183

Its an elevator ascent/descent motor failure. You didnt by any chance have any thing such as a big box of paper or a trash can sitting under the exit trays did you? Check it to make sure the trays are level also.
