OPEN THE THE GRIPPER WHICH YOU SAID IS CRACKED BY REMOVING THE SCREWS HOLDING IT AND TRY RUNNING THE MACHINE.ALSO CHECK THE SMALL WHEEL LOCATED IN THE CENTER OF THE WHEEL, THIS HAS TO BE TIGHTENED BY TURNING IN THE REVERSE DIRECTION.

SOURCE: I'm using the Alphabet Card

Hi, well if it works OK on "Other" cards? Then most likely the problem is with the "Card" it maybe corrupted etc? The ONLY real way to tell is to obtain an exact same card and try that, now, if, as I suspect, it works fine, then the answer is obvious, you need a new card to replace the damaged one. If however it is still not working, then there maybe some incompatibility between that card, or type of card, and the machine? in this event you would have to contact the manufacturer and report this and see what they say? You may need an update or the like? Only they could guide you on this in this case.

SOURCE: i have a brand new reliable industrial sewing

hi.
given that the machine is only a month or so old, the best advice i can give you is to do nothing to the machine and call the sewing machine guy out to repair it for you. a brand new machine like this will be covered by the warranty. as long as you have actually switched the machine on properly, any faults are the responsibility of the supplier at this stage.

SOURCE: Silvercrest overlocker - the 'red' pathway thread won't progress through

have you tried changing the needle?
since you've only had the machine for a week, I'd suggest taking it back & getting another machine.

On page 81 of your manual it says to adjust your LCD screen brightness.

My Bernina 210 Activa won't power up. I had it tuned up by a Bernina tech a few months ago and this is the first time I've pulled it out. No power/nothing. Seems like I'm just missing som

seems silly, but did you remember to plug it in? If you used a power strip, did you remember to make sure the strip is turned on?

Make sure the connection is plugged into the machine.

I have a Pfaff 418 and suddenly the bottom thread keeps snapping after about 5cm. I've altered the tesion & the timing and it's still happening. Any ideas??

try changing the needle
try rethreading the machine
clean under the needle plate & in the bobbin area for lint or threads
if these suggestions don't help, then the machine needs to be checked
to see what wrong with it

Viking 950e

they had the machine for 3 months, did they repair the machine?
did you get a reciept with information of what was repaired?
I've been sewing for 30 years, I would definitly take the machine back & find out why it's not accepting the D-cards & not allowing a menu seletion, as long as it doesn't take 3 months, & also try to find a different repair shop

The bobbin thread is loops on top of the fabric even when the top thread is loosened to 2

if you've taking the machine in 4 times to be fixed,,sounds like you need a different sewing machine repair shop.
have you tried changing needles?
have you tried rethread the top & bobbin thread
is it possible the bobbin thread in not correctly inserted in the bobbin case?
try a top thread tension of 5 & see what happens?

My brother Se 400 which is only a few months old just started running really slow. When I disconnect the foot petal and do the manual botton "the arrow button" it still runs slow. I don't...

have you checked to make sure the power cord is pushed in correctly?
if the power cord isn't the problem then it may need to be checked by a service tech, because it's not suppose to be running slow just a few months after you bought it.
I would call the people you bought it from & tell them what it's doing & see if they'll give you another one, I've been sewing for 30+ years & I wouldn't keep the machine.
good luck

I owen a Creative Touch Fashion Machine Model 1030. I tried to fill the bobbin and the thread is filling under the bobbin instead of inside the bobbin. Had it fix in late 2009 and it came back with this...

I've had that problem before, I wrap several loops on the bobbin it's self & as I start to wind I make sure the thread from the spool is pulled tight from the spool to the bobbin,,& that usually takes care of the problem
