Saitek X52 Flight Control Problem

I recently bought, installed, and configured Saitek X52 flight controllers. When I launch a flight in FSX all instruments are dead. However, if I hit escape to the continue or end flight menu, remove and reattach the USB plug for the controller, then continue with the flight, the instruments are all working. If I switch to an exterior view of the aircraft and return to the cockpit view the instruments are once again dead. It doesn't matter what aircraft I choose. Everything worked fine with my Saitek flight yoke and throttle quadrant. The buttons and controls still function but instruments are all frozen. I also use X-Plane 9 with no problems. Thanks all.

Remove the X52 and drivers from your system. You have to install them in a certain order, so look in the documentation for the correct way to install and you will be okay. Good luck

According to the manual you can choose your profile by using the clutch function. Are the profiles that you downloaded of the same file type as the one you have been able to make from scratch?

Bought the saitek headset how do configure to talk to the tower in the fsx game

You cannot talk to the tower in FSX, only via third part software and then the button you wish to use would be configured within that software (such as Live ATC),

I have Microsoft Flight Simulator X and a Satek X52 flight control, however I have problems with the throttle on all aircraft. I have to use the F-4 key - can you help?

You need to assign the throttle function correctly WITHIN FSX settings area itself. Also calibrate the joystick in windows first. If you are not familiar with assigning FSX functions to your joystick, check the Learning Center section within FSX for step-by-step details.

On saitek yoke system it wont work on fsx *flight simulator x* if you can help thanks !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Ensure you have installed the drivers for it. If you don't have them, go to Saitek web site, download and install the correct one's for your operating system. Also ensure that the yoke is plugged into the USB port on the rear of the PC as these USB sockets give the most power. Additionally, you have to set the yoke up in FSX\Settings so it knows what to do with it with regard to calibrating it and assigning what buttons do what.

MS FSX -view keeps switching from cockpit to spot view

The most likely problem here is that you have multiple assignments for the view change command set to multiple controllers hooked up to the system. They are conflicting with each other causing random view changes.

Firstly, go into Windows Control Panel and to Game Controllers. Remove any controllers listed in that box that are not currently connected or being used in your flight simulator.

Next, go into FSX, into the control assignments section...
Go through each controller in the drop down box (in the button/keys tab) and ensure only one controller has the assignment for view changes assigned.
