The spin cycle leaves the clothes wet & excess water in the washer tub
Go to an autoparts store and get a radiator hose pinch off plier pinch off the top tub to pump hose so that the water does not run out when you remove the water pump hose clamps; then remove the pump or, open it up to remove the impeller (fan) obstruction if that is the problem

replace door switch. If the computer thinks the door is open, it will not fast spin as a safety precaution.
SOURCE: washer doesn,t spin
two possibles here, if the drain pump is clogged and therefore the unit will not go into a spin. After pumping, it will error out and just shut off. If the pump is ok, then the motor control unit has failed.
SOURCE: excess water in clothes after spin cycle
Unblock the outflow pipe from the machine that goes into the sump under the sink. (have a pot ready for water overflow) This will help drain the water. If the spin cycle is making a screetching sort of noise then it is possible that the carbon brushes will need changing. This affects the spinning if the brushes are worn.

is it top load or front loader kenmore what
SOURCE: kenmore washer spin cycle doesn't leave clothes dry
SOUNDS LIKE THE TRANSMISSION IS NOT ALWAYS SHIFTING INTO HIGH SPEED MODE,TRY A MED. SIZE LOAD AND SEE WHAT THAT DOES,TRANSMISSION MIGHT JUST BE GETTING OLD WHIH IS NORMAL-MIKE

First off, thanks for the replies. mmm, There's no screeching noise. I think it may just be a clog. I've got the unit pulled away from the wall, unplugged & easy to get to. Now, can someoe tell me how to get to the drain, or pump, or to anywhere that there might be a clog?
