The smartest idea would be to contact Yahoo itself and explain that you've been the target of a "phishing" attack.

it looks like you have a problem with your account.
Have you tried clicking the
" I cant access my account" link on yahoo mail?

If not, you can try asking them in order for you to retrieve your account. after you retrieve it, you need to do a password change that is quite hard to guess.

I recommend you to delete it it look like virus whenever you receive an e-mail that you dont recognice I recommend you to delete it if you don't your computer will start acting slower due to the virus.

Two days ago I received an e-mail from ''yahoo'' requesting me to confirm my e-mail address and password as my account is due to be closed. I responded an now everyone on my contact list is receiving fraudulant e-mails from ''me'' requesting money from them as ''I am stranded in Nigeria - robbed and need money to return back home''. I cannot access my account anymore as my password must have been changed. My e-mail adress [email protected]. Please reply to [email protected]

that's strange, they usually reply within a day or 2
if you're using firefox 3, yahoo mail and firefox 3 have issues so they can't be together, use an alternative browser called crazybrowser or maxthon to login into yahoo mail.

Did you give Yahoo any details after the initial suspension email? You may have fallen foul of a phishing scam, and the email may have likely been faked. In which case, contact Yahoo immediately, and change all your passwords.
