Both seals failing, causing the compressor to run more, and freezing food (refrigerator).
I believe there is a 5 year warranty on that. Call Samsung. Don't use their live chat.

SOURCE: "Help" Missing refrigerator door sensor & compressor is continuously running..
could be, since if the computer senses that the doors are open, then he would turn the compressor continuously in order to compensate for the losses of an open door refrigerator.
but with this kind of alarm, im sure it should have turn the refrigerator off if it has been sensing that the doors are open for the past 48 hours.
another thing to consider is that since it is second hand, it could have been repaired and things done to it for the compressor to run continuous.
tnx 4 using fixya,

SOURCE: samsung refrigerator freezer not freezing
-2 although below freezing temperature, is not really enough to keep food really frozen. I am presuming we are talking in Celcuis. You need to set the freezer to a lower setpoint.
SOURCE: refrigerator is freezing food
Hi, this problem is going to be with the running thermostat. (cold Control). It has gone bad and stays open which in turn will keep the compressor running continually and will cause the fridge to get colder and freeze food. It can normally be located in the control panel inside the fridge (it is the control that has wires, the other is the damper). Locate the thermostat and replace it. If you have any other questions or concerns please feel free to comment again. Good Luck!! Mike
SOURCE: Mod# RFG297AA:Need to remove the freezer section or handle/latch
there are two screws on each side of the bottom freezer unit you need to remove. they can be removed after de-installing the front bin with the two plastic sleeves on the right and left. Then you can remove the bottom drawer door and the bins inside. next, open both top doors and angle the fridge with one door inside the door frame, then "walk" the fridge over the doorstoop, turning towards the inside door as you push. Follow thru with the rest of the unit, then re-attach the bottom drawer.
