The reason that you may not be able to get to the menu item that you need as described in the manual is that you are trying to make the change in the "IA" (Intelligent Auto) or preview mode. Several menus *e (quality etc.( are inaccessible in this mode. Change to ANY other mode and you should be able to update the settings (including deleting your internal memory. Obviously you probably should be using an SD or SDHC card to take more pix than your internal memory will allow--I'd recommend 4-8gb cards--especially if you are going to shoot in RAW mode.

I need software panasonic lumix DMC-FX10

You don't need any special software.

The best way to download pictures from your camera to your computer involves removing the memory card from the camera and plugging it into a card reader (either built-in to the computer or connected via USB or FireWire). This is likely to be faster than connecting the camera to the computer, and won't run down your camera's batteries.

Once the card is plugged in, it will appear to your computer as a removable drive. You can use the operating system's drag&drop facility to copy pictures from the card to the computer's hard drive, the same way you copy any other files. Or, despite what I said first, you can use any photo cataloging program such as Picasa.

Another way to download your photos. Remove the memory card from the camera and insert the memory card into an USB memory card reader. Connect the card reader into the USB port on your computer. The computer will see the memory card as an external storage device, you can open the folders and files and copy them to your computer.

Can I use Panasonic Lumix DMC-FX10 Digital Camera as a webcam? How?

Sorry, you can't. The DMC-FX10 is designed to store images and videos to memory, not to stream live video to another device.

I know that wasn't the answer you wanted to see, but there it is.

I lost the disk for my Panasonic dmc-fx10 to download my pictures on my computer. Do I have to go buy one or what. I don't buy anything off the net. Thank you..

You don't really need any additional software to use your camera. The best way to download pictures from your camera to your computer involves removing the memory card from the camera and plugging it into a card reader (either built-in to the computer or connected via USB or FireWire). This is likely to be faster than connecting the camera to the computer, and won't run down your camera's batteries.

But despite what I said first... There are plenty of photo catalog software packages out there, some free, some not, that can transfer and catalog your pictures so you can quickly find pictures from Susie's birthday party, for example. Just do a google search for "photo catalog software".
