Look at the rear of the machine for an access door.

Paper jam

I tried the Cleaning Kit HP sent me. At the time they didn't mention that it required a direct USB hookup rather than the Network setup I was using.

Another user suggested using Lighter Fluid sprayed on the defective (too hard) paper feed wheels. Crazy solution? Lighter Fluid is mainly Naptha which the user claims softens rubber.

I tried it last night and waited for the fluid to evaporate before plugging the printer in. I really expected the darned thing to go up in flames so I had a pot of water and a blanket nearby as a fire precaution.

Much to my surprise .. the PSC 3210 has been feeding sheets perfectly for the past two days! This is after sitting in a HOT attic abandoned for over a year! I had to replace one ink cartridge which had dried out completely.

I don't know how long this "fix" will continue working but Lighter Fluid is cheap. The PSC 3210 is a quality printer WHEN it prints. It's too bad HP created so much bad will in its customer base because of defective rubber paper feed wheels. I've avoided purchasing HP products for two years now and have warned others to stay away because of this fault with customer service. Instead of replacing the defective rollers in my original printer, they exchanged the printer for a refurbished printer with the same defective rollers!

If you can't solve your problem with the HP troubleshooter, please ask again and I can try and talk you through the resetting process. Hope this helps:)
