Replaced maintenance kit Phaser 5500, as i received a fuser error. U4-1. Once replaced the error remained. Any ideas?
Try to hard reset your printer. To do this, unplug the cord at the rear
of the printer while still powered on. Then remove it the plug from the
socket. Let it sit for a few minutes. Then, plug the power cord and then
reattach the cord at the back. The printer should power on itself, if
not just power it on manually by pressing the power button.
Doing the hard reset should clear off any error messages from your printer's memory.
