you have to use an ohmmeter to check it, you must check the continuity of motor coil after the switch terminal if in this point you have the reading less than 200 ohms, try checking it before the switch but this time you have to switch it on. If you have the readings continue to check it from the Power Plug. Most cases the problem is only in Power cord .

The shaft from the motor to the drive gear is likely not working the action of the hammer. There is a gear which spins the gears to achieve the hammer action, suspect the gear is either stripped, broken or both.

replace the bit, it is wore out , you can check this by putting a shim between bit and tool and see if better...not properly greasing bit each use causes excessive wear to blunt end of bit and tool ram
