Attach new torsion spring and bracket for miele s5211 vacum bag

Bracket which you attach cleaning bag to, on Miele s5211 was accidentally thrown out! Got a new bracket plus 'Torsion spring' from Miele. Consultant said instructions would be in it. No instructions nor do Miele have any instructions. I need a diagram or explanation about how to attach the spring and insert the bracket. The spring is thew real problem - it is not intuitive at all. No idea where / how to position it.

Miele C3, after changing bag, dust/dirt is entering main compartment ?

There is a “bag dock” that is commonly thrown out with the old bag. Check the old bag or contact your local Miele dealer.

C3 Vacuumed products appear to be going into the body of the hoover rather than going into the bag And yes i have changed the bag!

C3 suggests that maybe you have a Miele, not a Hoover. If you have a Miele C3 and the bag isn't connecting properly, you have most likely thrown the bag holder out with the bag. It is a common occurrence. Take it to your local vac shop so they can clean the motor and replace the bag holder and filters.

The bag on my s7210 doesn't seem to fit properly and I am getting dust in the bag compartment instead of teh bag - what am I doing wrong?

Check to see that the bag mounting bracket and torsion spring are in place, the bracket will be either a dark graphite color like most of the vacuum or green. If you only have a protruding tube where you put the bag on, then your bag mount have come off and you should order a new one; very inexpensive and it comes with a new spring.

My s5210/s5211 vacuum 14 months old makes a noise like a turbine

You've got a 7 year motor warranty. Take it back to your dealer and have the motor replaced, unless you've been running it without filters or you've been using generic bags, which would have voided your motor warranty.
This is actually very rare: I've only ever seen one miele motor break that wasn't water related or related to negligence.
