Many factors can cause a printer doesn't print depending on the model on the market, it's hard to diagnose, but here are some steps you can try first.
Make sure the printer is powered up and connected to your computer according to the manufacturer's instructions.
Keep the printer driver up-to-date, if you already have the latest version in Windows Update, check the driver from the printer manufacture website, or reinstall for a test
Restart the "Print Spooler" service in services: stop this services, clean content in
C:\Windows\System32\spool\printers,start service, set it to Automatic.

We have a full toner container and no new one to put in. We took it out and emptied the container and tried putting it back in because it gave an error meesage that it is either full or improperly installed? What is the proper way to install?
