Try another power adapter for a USB device. If this is the type unit you are referring to, it looks like it has a power/charging adapter as well as the USB cord? Those are pretty much standard with a few exceptions. The cord rarely fails but a power adapter sometimes fails.
eBay shows a lot of available replacements.
Also, make sure the electrical outlet is live. Do other things plugged into the outlet work?
And, if the power adapter has a fuse in it (can't tell from these listings), make sure it is not blown.
If it truly is the connector in the Nabi, you're in a bit of a jam. But, the power cords I find are very finicky. I have two Nabi's and each has its "preferred" charging cable. One cable works better than the other on each tablet. Before attempting any major repair, try another USB charging cable. You can get the cable for under $4 on Ebay. Make sure you have a high powered USB source (2 Amp or 2000 milliamp) or it won't provide enough juice to charge the tablet. Beyond that, I also sometimes have to "position" the cable just right, twisting the connector and cable till I get the red charge light to stay on. Often this requires I fully power off the Nabi, not just put it into stand-by. Good luck.
Get a multimeter and test the power charger , if its working then you have a broken power ingress point on the tablet so its hosed , be cheaper to buy a new one , if its the psu you can get replacements on ebay for less thanten euros
