I can't print. I can ping the IP. No one else can print to it. I can print a status page from the printer. I deleted the printer and added it back in. Nothing is working. Any ideas?
I have an HP 1350 all in one printer/scanner. It was printing fine until I wanted to scan a document. I pressed the scan button and now its stuck there. I can't get it out of scanning. I tried turning it off, unpluging and replugging. Can you help me.

Open the browser on your computer, type the Ip address of the scanner on the address bar, the page of the scanner will open, under scan to email destination, you can add or remove accounts.
If your prints or status page prints normally and the light/faint area is only when making a copy then the mirrors in the optics need to be cleaned. They can get dusty or build up a film on them. You must turn off and unplug the copier then remove the large glass that you place your original on. There are two screws to the left of the large glass if you remove them the piece of plastic that holds the glass in place on the left can be removed. Left the glass off. If you are careful you can grab the center of the mirror base that houses the lamp that comes on when making a copy and slide it slowly to the right. This will allow you enough space to clean the mirrors. Use a clean lint free cloth with a mild glass cleaner (with no amonia). Put everything back to were it was and plug in and turn on the machine and you should be all set.
u can come to know from the server
where its physically installed
goto printers and faxes
then oen printer properties
and there is a tab named shared
see the name there
and write it
and then
u can add to the other macine
and can install
First turn the main Power Switch off, then unplug the network cable from the nic card and leave it unplugged. Then turn the machine back on, when it says ready to copy, press the printer button and print out a network status page. Then hook the network cable back up and go to a pc and click on start then control panel and look for printers and faxes and click on it, then right click on the Kyocera Printer Icon, then click on properties in the drop down then click on the port tab, then click on configure port and check the ip address and make sure it matches the one on the network status page, if it doesn't put in the correct IP Address and apply the change. But if the ip address is right just try printing again. If it prints ok then you are done but if it doesn't try this click on start then run and then type in cmd, then on the screen that opens up type in ping, then a space, then ip address of the Kyocera Machine then press enter, if the Nic card is connecting to the network you should get a reply from the Kyocera's Nic Card if you do then the Nic Card is ok and the Kyocera print driver may have to be deleted and then re-installed. Hope this helps.
A KM-2550 has 64 MB RAM built in. I believe less than 30 of it is for image storage. You may be able to lower your scan resolution.
Best solution is to add more memory. Look for a Kyocera compatible 100 pin dimm (don't buy from the manufacturer). It will read 16 MB to 256 MB sticks. You have to take out 6-8 screws holding on the part of the back the sticks out on the upper left. Make sure after installing you print a status page to make sure the memory was recognized.
Type in the address bar the IP address of the scanner (If you do not know this print out a status page)
Once you have typed in the IP address you will then have the scanner configuration screen on the left you should have passwords section you will be able to change it from there.
