Guitar not working properly

I have the new guitar with the slider for GH:World Tour, and the past few days it will just miss notes randomly for no reason, like ill strum a chord and hold it, but halfway through the chord the game registers a strummed note when I haven't released the strum bar, is this a problem with the game or the guitar?

Only the Guitar Hero World Tour guitar has this slider. Its the touchpad on the New Guitar. Check your guitar, if you are using a guitar without touchpad, then the purple slider notes are treated like Hammer-ons. Check below the fret buttons, there are some coloured strips in the same order just like the fret buttons. No need to strum them. It may not look like it does anything, but you can tap it to strum during gameplay. Find some transparent blue notes, place your finger on one there, and it will play any of the slide notes coming up on that. Now you slide your finger to get the other notes with it.

Also learn some other guitar repairing tricks, being a guitarist you need to have good knowledge of genuine guitar parts. When you find some guitar spare parts need to buy, search for genuine parts only to maintain the sound quality of your guitar.

Check the D-pad on the guitar. Sometimes it can get stuck slightly and can count for accidental strumming. Also be sure to keep the button pressed firmly when playing chords. It is very sensitive to touch.

How can I connect my hsm mic to gh3 world tour?

You can use any mic that has a usb plug, you can also use the usb mic on your pc too. You will not be able to the mic with GH3, because GH3 does not offer band multiplay, you will need to get GH World Tour or a GH track pack. You can also use the guitars from GH for all the Rockband series too. So having the mic already, all you would have to do (if it has the usb) is connect it to the usb plug in the front of your console. I assume your using the PS2 b/c of the pic. You can also use the drums and mic from PS2 with a PS3. You can't use the guitar from PS2 for PS3 unless you buy this wire that converts the controller plug to usb, on ebay they are $4-$5, obviously a lot cheaper than buyer another guitar @ $40-$50. This info should help and may answer some future questions as well. Good luck.

Guitar Hero Guitar plays notes on its own on xbox 360

You can turn off the touch slider by going into a song and then going into options, which will turn it off until you change it back. This means , of course, you wont be able to use it, but its better than failing. :D

Wireless guitar strummer on wii repeatedly breaks

Well the strumming by itself is due to the touch slider strumming by itself. Try going into any song and going into options and turning off the touch slider. This will keep the touch slider off until you change it back, so you don't have to do this every time.

Can't use drums for rockband on guitar world tour

The instruments for Rock Band and GH:WT are compatible on the PS3 and the Xbox 360, not the Wii. Blame Activision, the creators of GH:WT - they went a different route with hardware for the Wii that made things incompatible.

Gh world tour mic has terrible lag

Yes, unfortunately, USB ports just aren't fast enough for live vocals. Some stereo setups have longer lag times than others, as well. A couple of ms is very noticeable. Have you tried adjusting the settings on the game? Go to "Options" on the Home Screen and select "Calibrate Lag." Here you can delay either your Audio or your Video in 1 ms increments to try to adjust for lag times. You may find a happy medium after adjusting these settings.
