Settings shows external store contains several ebooks transferred from calibre library
When I got this problem, I inserted the card into Windows computer with a card reader, then repaired the file system of the broken card with the right mouse click using 'properties / tools' like any other Usb device. When I inserted the card back to the Iconia it was working again. I guess all depends on how severe the damage is.
SOURCE: micro sd card not reading songs
Yes, Brother there is one probability that your sd is formatted in fat-32 file system. For that i would like to say phone can only read FAT not FAT-32. Go to my computer, select sd drive properties and format it with FAT file system. Then load the files and you will be able to see it in your phone. If it works don't forget to vote here. SOURCE: can't get music from itunes onto micro sd card
Hi,
Basically, when you buy music from online stores such as iTunes, RealRhapsody.... they are actually DRM protected content and you will not be able to play them on mp3 players which do not support their formats. In such case, the option is to Burn those tracks to a CD and then rip them once again to the HD wherein the DRM will be removed and you will get the tracks in (DRM free) MP3 format. After this you will be able to transfer them to a memory card or to most mp3 players or mobile phones or PDAs...
In case you have purchased a great amount of music from these stores, you can go ahead and use TuneClone which acts as a Virtual CD-ROM drive on your PC, and lets you remove the DRM element without having to waste actual CD's.
You can check out the same at their website: http://www.tuneclone.com

SOURCE: EnV2 does not recognize MP3 files on micro SD card
This was tricky, but I was able to get MP3 files recognized on my daugter's phone.
First, the MicroSD card needs to be formatted by the phone. The phone requres a special directory structure to be created. You may be able to do this manually, but I did it by letting the phone initialize the card. To do this, insert the MicroSD card. Make sure you push it all the way in.
Go to Menu 9 Settings and Tools. Then menu 9 Memory. Then menu 3 Card Memory. The phone should recognize the card and initialize it by creating the special directories for My Music, My Videos, My Sounds, etc.
Then put the card into your PC and copy your MP3 files to the My Music directory on the card. I could not get the phone to recognize sub folders, so make sure you copy everything directly to the My Music directory and not the one under it.
Now the card is ready, you have to tell the phone to use your card memory and not its internal memory for these items. Go to Menu 9 Settings and Tools. Then menu 9 Memory. Then menu 1 Save Options. Pick Pictures, Video, and Sounds and set the phone to use Card memory for each.
Now you can import the music into the music player on the phone. Go to menu 5 Media Center. Menu 1 Music & tones. Menu 4 My Music. The music player should then Import yhour music into the player and it should now be playable.
(I think these accurately reflect what I did)
You can also go to 9 Settings, 9 Memory, 3 Card Memory, 4 My Music to view your music.

This Tablet Personal Computer [PC] takes Micro Secure Digital [SD] Cards.
To transfer pictures from a Digital Camera to this PC, if the Camera also
takes Micro SD cards, is simply a matter of removing the Micro SD card from the Camera and installing it in the PC's Micro SD Card Slot and then waiting for the PC's AutoPlay function to serve up the photo files stored on the card, which can then be Dragged and Dropped into a photo folder on the PC.
If
the Camera takes SD Cards, then a Micro SD to SD Card Adapter is required so
that the PC's Micro SD Card can fit in the camera before pictures are
taken and then disconnected from the adapter afterwards, for re-insertion in the PC.
If
the Camera takes a different type of Memory Card, then a Multi Card Reader
might be required, which would be connected to the computer's USB Port
and the Memory Card slotted into its matching slot in the Card Reader.
