Check and replace the shorted component/s in its horizontal output section circuit. If you are not familiar with electronics, do not attempt to repair. Whether you suffer fatal electrical shock! Instead, contact the nearest service center.

The first thing in this unit is to check the ribbon cable that goes from the front control panel to the back ssb board, I would unplug and replug to make sure seated properly. Then try it again. There are alot of screws to take out but worth it if this solves the problem.

I ouldn't find any good news on the web about this,
so i did a bit of research and discovered that it wouldn't cost me much more than the cost of repair if I went to Best Buy and bought a new HD-TV.
Wow ! The prices have really come down !
Now I'm glad that it malfunctioned !

my technika tv stanby light started flashing when i turned it on, then after a while the flashing stopped & light just stays on. cant get tv to go on
