The lamp is in the front of the TV. Pop off the gray cover, about the width of the screen, located just left of the power button. You will then see a bunch of warning labels on the left. Unscrew the one screw that is there and take that piece off. There's your lamp. Unscrew the screw on the right of the lamp and the lamp will slide out.

I just fixed my problem. I was getting the lamp needs to be replaced window so I proceeded to hold down the low volume key on the tv while holding the tv/video key on the remote. I waited a few seconds and let go when the green power button on the tv comes on. Once the tv is on you see all this weird data. Scroll down to the lamp hour section and hold down the low volume key on the front of the tv while using the down arrow on the remote to bring the lamp number to 0. Once this is zero then turn off then turn on again and you should see no more message.

Pull off the panel below the screen.
Remove the two screws hold the 2nd cover from the left.
Remove one screw from the lamp module and pull it out.
Buy the lamp module. It is not worth it to try replacing the lamp. You can damage the bulb easily.
SOURCE: WHEN TURNED ON THE TV MAKES A VERY LOUD WHINNING
Hi TVs have a lamp inside which produces white light. The color wheel is responsible for giving color to that light. This color wheel lasts between two to five years depending on the daily use of the TV. Most of the time when the central barring of the wheel is loose, unstable, or out of place it will cause the edge of the wheel to make contact with the housing, producing that whining, whirling, screeching or hissing sound. These sounds can either produce just an annoying sound when watching TV or can cause the TV to shut off. When this happens you'll have to replace it.
