Mediacom 1056B03 remote control code to program a sony blu ray player

Is the mediacom classed as a "universal remote", or one from another device?
If universal, such as "One4All" type, you should be able to Google the code set for the Mediacom.
If device-specific, then only certain functions may work (if you're lucky).
