E system 1212 Laptop won't switch on. Power

Laptops are so integrated that usually a system failure that involves power issues such as in your case where you cant get it turn on with anything on the screen mean the mainboard (motherboard) is damaged. This usually leads to buying a new laptop or paying for the board to be replaced which usually costs as much as the laptop.

No sign of power

I am afraid they are correct. There are two possible reasons why your machine wont power up.1st-- The pump might be open circuit and 2nd You motor controller or as they call it the control panel is faulty.Do not know what country you are in but the prices seem a little expensive. Sorry for the bad news and please reply for further help if you decide to repair it yourself. Good luck.

My tom tom wont turn on where is the reset bitton

look for a small hole on the outside case near the sd card reader. might need a paperclip or pin to poke the microswitch inside the hole. simply clicking the switch doesn't work, try holding it for 5 seconds then try to power up. Common problem with GPS devices, (my mio included) is after being plugged in for a long time, the battery life becomes nil and it relies upon the charger. Check tom to xl for further problem solving. google search TOM TOM XL won't power up.

Tom Tom Go 520 can not connect to PC.

I had the same problem with a 750.
I cured it (accidentally I must add) by inserting a memory card.
I guess the last time I connected and disconnected the 750 it had a memory card in and without one inserted it would not recognise the device.
Strange reason but worked for me.

Tom tom wont stay charged what can i do

If it will not stay charged then the battery is defective, these type of batteries have an average life of 2 years, less if they are run dead allot, more if they are left on the charger and kept fully charged between uses.

Tom tom not charging up!

Battery's probably dead. If you're within warranty you can have it replaced by contacting TomTom. Otherwise, you can still use the device, you'll just have to have it always connected to the charger.
