Need someone to install Microsoft .net framework 4

Installation of .net framwork 4 fails everytime. error log shows issues with the windows installer and states that the windows imaging component must be installed (WIC). When I try to install the WIC in get the message that it is unable to locate the update.inf file. I have tried every solution I can find on the web - have used the .net cleanup utility (several times) and have tried every action I can find in forums and google. I need .net installed asap so that my other software will run.

A solution has been found. A system DLL was the 32 bit version instead of a 64 bit versio. We found this in two cases so if anyone else has this problems they should check the dll files in sysWOW64 to see if they are the correct versions.

Believed me you have to reinstall your operating system. I encountered that problem too. I uninstall and re-installed .NET, update windows service packs nothing happened until I reformat the hard drive and install the operating system again.
remember format the hard drive first then install the operating system (backup your data first)

The application failed to initialize properly (0xc0000135).

When attempting to run Microsoft .Net based applications, you may get the following error on startup:
The application failed to initialize properly (0xc0000135)
The cause of this error is that the Microsoft .Net framework is not installed or is damaged in some way. Therefore applications will fail to launch.
To fix this error you can run Windows Update and find the Microsoft .Net framework update to install. Alternatively, you can download the Microsoft .Net Framework directly from Microsoft.

Hi hyarmenion_1

Updates are used to remove some bugs(errors), more features and new versions.

If you have installed net.framwork you can use Windows update to install additional updates. You can find it in Internet Explorer under Functions.

For the LifeCam 2.07 software it shoud be a update feature in the program.

Hope that helps
IF NOT then try to return here
