Hello,

If you open your Network window from the start menu, at the top you will see "Add a wireless device". Follow the instructions and this should get your wireless connection with WEP key add. (When you select your router, you will need the WEP key at hand. You can get this by going to the web page of your routers IP address.) Good Luck.

Netbook is wirelessly connected, but can't browse web sites

Shouldn't have to do much. I bought my daughteran ASUS Eee netbook with XP on it and it immediately connected to my wireless. Shouldn't be anything special to the settings unless you have specified these in your network settings on the router. If everything is set to default on the router, you should be able to connect with ease. I would enable WEP security on the router though.

Asus eee pc 900a wireless connection not working

I've experienced the same problem with my ASUS netbook. Uninstall the wireless hard - remove hardware in control panel, reboot the machine and allow it to auto find the adapter again. This should correct it. If there are still problems verify that you have the most current driver for the wireless adapter, either from Asus, or the wireless adapter chipset manufacturer (i.e. Intel, broadcomm, etc.)

Advent 4213 netbook not connecting to wireless network

Have you entered the security details regarding your network connection into your new netbook.
Sounds like the problem.
Detect the network and enter the security key (WEP;WAP etc) and should work
