How to acess set-up menu without factory remote

you need to get the tv to an auxillary channel...this is accomplished by the remote...try getting a replacement thru eBAY or possibly buy a universal remote.

The next model, 25M-M100, lets you get to the menu by pressing Channel Up and Channel Down on the TV at the same time. It's worth trying. However, if you hold the buttons for more than 3 seconds, it may go into demo mode instead. Get out of the demo by pressing the Ch up and down buttons again. If this works, use the channel up and down buttons separately to navigate vertical menus and volume up and down to navigate horizontal ones.

The Sharp part number is: RTRNF0019MEZZ, but I list this as no longer available. You can check with local service shops and see if they have one around. I can not find any supplier with that part any longer.
