Do you see a lot of sudds? Do you put anything in for the clean ? Operator error LG washers are great but can be touchy
No there are no suds and I follow the user manual to place some bleach in the softener dispenser but no clothes or detergent. I then turn on the washer, press "tub clean" and start. It goes through the cycle almost to the end but then stops with the "OE" error and water remains in the tub. I stop the machine and restart a "spin drain" cycle and it empties and shuts off. All other cycles work fine. It's just the "tub clean " cycle.
you may have a lot of buildup in the tub . yout can try using white distilled vinigar instead of bleach on a heavy cycle with hot water
aand cut way back on your soap 2 tbs per load . it will clean your clothes just fine
Yes I only ever use HE detergent and only 2 tblspoons but I will try your suggestion of just running white vinegar through an empty hot wash cycle. Not sure why the potential "build up" problem, OE error would only happen during tub clean sysle. Thank you for your responses!
Here sre some trouble shooting codes to consider.

SOURCE: For LG WM2233HW, Error Code OE. Already check
Replace the water pump. Because the water can not pump out, the machine idles for a while then stops with the error code OE. The technician said, the drain hose should be hang high before curse down to the drainage so air can not go to the hose.
Hi
Thanks
for using FixYa. OE is overflow error which occurs when the water level is too high. It can be cleared by
turning POWER switch OFF. Water is drained prior to POWER switch OFF. The tub
is drained for 2 minutes if a frequency of more than 25 KHz is detected.
If the issue remains then clean the drain pump located at the front lower
panel. Please revert back for further assistance.
Thanks
