SOURCE: my mousepad won't work on

Check for dirt under the keys. See if you can blow under key and turn the laptop on it's side while you're doing it so anything under it can fall away.

Laptop mousepad doesn't work correctly

If it is a new Laptop then I'll not suggest you to open it for cleaning because you'll void the warranty period. You can check for the latest touch pad driver and update it once. it may help you.

Hello..just moved my desk top to new desk..everything is fine..but mouse won t work..while it was unplugged i cleaned keyboard..monitor with soft cloth..can u tell me why my mouse won t work

IF it's a serial mouse (meaning green round connector) it's probably not plugged in correctly. Now these are not plug and play so you need to reboot your system in order for it to work. Try that.

The scroll bars on the mousepad don't work

Since it is a Laptop you can not just go over to the Scroll Bar. Move the arrow from the mouse over to the scroll bar. Hold on the left key below the mousepad. The scroll bar should turn a differnt color. Move the scroll bar up and down with your finger, using the mousepad.

Touchpad on my emachines g720 laptop will not work

Have you tried holding down the function key 'FN' ( next to ctrl at bottom left, and then pressing F7 ?

This toggles the touch pad on and off, so that when you are typing you do not move the mouse pointer around accidentally.

look for a new mousepad on ebay and install it, it's prolly worn out OR, the connector to the mouse pad is barely making contact inside the case.
