Maytag Neptun will not agitate or spin

This machine has a 'Fill and Agitate' mode (no spin). So many programs on it! You may have a faulty timer, but due to the cost of those items, I suggest you get professional diagnostic advice. Try a power disconnect overnight. Spin the control dial one revolution and then reconnect power.

could be your door switch, under the top panel, witch you can remove with 2-4 screws on the back of panel. there should be a sheet under panel that will tell you how to get codes by pushing or holding bottons

Will the water turn off if you hit the OFF buton on the console or pull the 120VAC power cord to the washer?

Issue could be a Stuck open Water Inlet Valve or improper signaling from the Pressure Switch for water fill in the wash tub.........**** dh1200s

Any error code associated with fail to Spin?

Is this a FAV6800A LED console model or a FAV9800A LCD console model?

Your motor runs in forward and reverse...the spin is one way and the agitate is the other... that direction has failed. Replace the motor...

you need to replace the water level switch

take top control panel off and check your lid switch odds are its the problem

SOUNDS LIKE A PUMP HAS GONE BAD. REPLACE IT. IT WOULDN'T COST TOO MUCH.

You have a clog in your pump; have to dismantle to de-clog. Look carefully.

Tip:

Empty out all pockets in clothing before loading the machine!

does the water run when you unplug the machine? if so then you have a bad fill valve,
