Panasonic cinema vision 1080 hd projection tv shut off and red

My TV surname off after 5-15 minutes of use. The red light in the front blinks once every 3 seconds continuously. If I hold the power button down on the tv, it will turn on and do the same thing.

Thanks for using FixYa. 3 blinks means convergence output failure and to resolve this you’ll need to change the convergence chips which are located behind the black heat sink; you can see once you open the back off the TV. Hi,
3 times LED blinks in Panasonic PT-47WX42 shows problem with convergence out chips failure as this tv has two big black ICs STK392-110 as convergence output, replace them to fix tv problem.
Click Part Store to see an image of required chip and price info.
Local tv tech is recommended if you have no experience of working in tv circuit boards.

Thats the 140 v error. Check the HV wire ( large Red Wire) The coinnection can cause that issue.

Ur power ic inverter board is dead.
U need a new one.

Three blinks - B+ over voltage protection (OVP), unit goes to the standby mode then displays the 3 blink fault. This is also a problem in the power supply circuit, check T603 and R672.

I have a 61" JVC that just stoped working. I turn it on and nothing bu the blue light stays on and the red light blinks 8 times and then the blue light joins in.

3 blinks is the error code for the convergence ICs. You need to replace both STK392-110 convergence ICs. You can get replacement ICs at the following link and they provide installation instructions with pictures.
