Mouse cursor doesn't move with tablet pen(Hanvon product)
Can't find my product here. Hanvon(tm) 6x5 Drawing tablet ''Painting Master'' [ tm is like coded letters, small and they are a bit up from the middle after Hanvon , i think it means trade mark]
Description(Specifications): Pressure level (pen) 512 levels Accuracy (pen) +_(plus and lower line together) 0.5mm (sorry can't do codes) Report rate 100 points per second Active area 6'' x 5'' Tablet size 9.2'' x 8.4'' x 0.4'' Pen Size 5.7'' x 0.5'' Port USB For Windows only. I don't know if description might help, just put it in case, if you will need it.
--- Problem --- Hanvon(tm) tablet pen is battery free, and cordless. There was no instruction about the Pen( maybe i missed it). I had it for 1 year, it worked good, and didn't have any problem. But right now the problem is why the mouse cursor is not moving now? I tried to change pen pins, still not working. When I put the pen on the tablet(holding it) the green light stops flashing, it stays. Which means the tablet pen is fine, it working, and the pin is changed. So i try to put a pin(just a pin which is not inserted into tablet pen) on tablet area and it doesn't stop flashing green light on the tablet. So yea tablet pen is working, but the mouse cursor is not moving ( with mouse, the cursor is moving) So i wonder why the mouse cursor is not moving with tablet pen. I have tried to see the options, i didn't find anything about the cursor. So i can't find a solutions. I need your help~! =x Help me please.
Problem Fixed. The reason mouse cursor didn't move with tablet pen is because i ended "jwpen.exe" file in task manager. I did many test to find out why it didn't work. I Repaired some of programs, after ending files.. yea pen didn't work. Then i realized maybe i closed one of the files that has to do something with tablet pen. So i started to end up programs bit by bit, and noticed what program i closed which is for tablet pen. If you have similar problem, try checking like i did. Do experiments before changing pen pins ( yea i shouldn't have changed pen pin, so i have no idea how it wears off), read manual, repair program in Add/remove, check task manager ( ctrl+alt+del) in case. =] Thank you. xD

Is it maybe possible it is a hardware prob? maybe the directional sensor in the tablet was displadced.
BTW i have the same tablet and need an harddrive replacement/upgrade, how did you manage to do that? what kind of drive and where to buy? Viewsonic seems not so eager to help me out with that.

Are you trying to move the cursor with the trackpoint, a usb mouse, or the pen? Have you tried restarting your computer? Restarting would likely solve the problem. If you can't move the cursor to the start menu, you can open the start menu with the windows key, use the arrow keys to navigate to the power options. Use enter to select the power options and shut down or restart the computer. If this does not work, press and hold the power button for 5 or 10 seconds to force the computer to shut down.
What happened before this occurred? Did you install any programs or updates recently, or change any settings on your computer?
When your cursor is moving, while you don't touch your mose, check if the underside is completely clean. And with a wireless mouse, please put your phone somewhere else, not to close to the computer. Then let us know if it helps.
have you tried a usb mouse ?? as if that works it will be the touch pad is playing up. you can disable it and use a wireless mouse or usb one. as it would be cheaper then replacing the touch pad.
Well there is a few ways to try to fix it first with a usb mouse check that the resolution is at it's native pixel count. This can be found on the manufacture website. If it is already at that resolution ensure that the CIC XPen drivers are installed. Those should have placed a recalibration program in the control panel. If those both fail, try uninstalling the drivers and restarting, then reloading the drivers. Hope this helps! food luck and godspeed!

I?ve had a couple of Dells laptops do this and without fail the cause was flaky touchpad/mouse drivers. I would suggest going to the Acer website downloading the latest drivers for your mouse. If that fails try removing the driver and running with the Windows default drivers, that what I?ve been doing successfully on my company laptops for several years now.
Acer driver download page, the web site is really slow so be prepared for a long wait.
The closest match was the C300 so I?m assuming these are generic drivers for the 300 series. Use the pull down menus and select the following:
-Select Product Line = Notebook
-To the right of that select TravelMate C300 (way at the bottom)
-Make sure English is selected and click on the search button. Once the drivers page opens go down towards the bottom and load for TM C300 touchpad drivers
