Hi my name is Justin i have some problem with my rca dvd player when it's started it asked an unlock code so i want you to help me
SOURCE: Noise coming from DVD player and it will not work
This is due to the mechanics inside the DVD-RW being out of place. If you open the DVD-RW (take both the top and bottom cover off and take the CD tray out) you will see the white plastic guide that guides 2 arms as the laser mechanism lowers and raises. One of these 2 arms is out of place and need to be pushed back in. Also, check for a crack in the black plastic on the arms....this usually causes the arms to slip out of place. If a crack is found, simply super glue it tigether.
SOURCE: My RCA DRC8052N DVD Recorder's DVD drive will not
When I worked on one of these, I found that the eject/close belt was slipping... If this is the case with your player, good luck finding a replacement belt.
SOURCE: My DVD tray will not open, and with no disc inside
The DVD player in model DRC8295 uses a magnet to pull the Disc tray up into position. You can open up the front disc cover and push down slightly on the Disc tray and then push the open/close button to eject the tray. I had to do this on my unit and therefore I recommed leaving a Disc in it at all times. I leave a "Bad Disc" in mine and it opens/closes with no problems.
To unlock, manually press and HOLD the open/close button & the stop button simultaneously, and HOLD them both down until the lock picture disappears. The DVD will eject when you press the open/close button.
To lock the DVD inside the machine, repeat the same step, and it will lock it inside.
